If you would like to help us with these activities, please contact us or print out the volunteer form and return it to your child's teacher.

Beautification: as needed
Volunteers will help with campus "cleanup"- trimming, weeding, etc.

Birthday Parties: Dates: 10/15, 11/12, 12/10, 1/14, 2/18, 3/18, 4/22, and 5/13
Volunteers pass out cake, punch, and goody bags, and supervise Pin the Tail on the Cougar Cub

Birthday Party Goody Bags:
meet once or twice to stuff goody bags

Book Fair: October 6-10 and April 27-May 1
Volunteers help children choose books and checkout purchases

Box Tops/Campbell's/Tyson: monthly
Volunteers needed to help clip and count labels

Candy Man Distribution:
Help pass out boxes of items fom fundraiser

Communication Dispatcher: as needed
Photocopy PTO updates at school and distribute to teachers' mailboxes

50/50 Raffle: November 10
Help collate flyers and raffle tickets and distribute to teachers' mailboxes

Holiday Sing: December 9, 8:30 a.m. or 6:00 p.m.
Sell raffle tickets and other items at PTO table before and after performances

Home Interiors Distribution: November
Help sort and distribute candles at school from fundraiser

Picture Day and ID Cards: October 23
Volunteers prepare students for photographer

Santa Shop: December 15-18
Volunteers help children shop, and assist with checkout and wrapping

School Sign: monthly
Change marquee in front of school with monthly update

Staff Appreciation: January 16 and May 5
Volunteers provide food for staff luncheons, help decorate, etc.

Study Buddies: Thursdays, 1:30-2:45
Volunteers supervise students in small groups or one-on-one on assignments from teachers (tutoring skills not necessary)

Yearbook:
Volunteers will put together pages for school yearbook

SPRING FLING
FRIDAY, APRIL 3, 2009

Spring Fling has become our biggest fundraiser and requires the most volunteers.
There are many ways you can help:

Auction:
  • help solicit items from local businesses
  • organize items the day of the auction
  • Do you have a business that would be willing to donate an item? We're always looking for "big ticket" items to use as a raffle prize.

Food:
  • BBQ grills and grillers needed!
  • Volunteers needed to help in cafeteria the night of the event

Bounce House:
  • Would you be willing to donate the cost of a bounce house rental for the night?
  • Volunteers needed to supervise children

Art Room
  • Volunteers needed to supervise various activities: face and hair painting,
tattoos, art project, etc.

Music Room:
  • Volunteers needed to supervise cake walk
